October 20, 2016
On October 20, major donors, partners and friends of Bethell Hospice Foundation gathered at Devil’s Pulpit Golf Club for an evening of thanks and celebration. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Bethell Hospice volunteer, Stan Cameron. Speakers included Julie Adamo Cass, organizer of the Hockley Valley Resort Fashion Show, and Bhupinder Sanghera, whose daughter, Niki Sanghera, was a resident of Bethell Hospice earlier this year. The Lorna Bethell Legacy Award was presented to Anne Livingston, in recognition of her long and valued support of Bethell Hospice Foundation. The Elizabeth Birnie Leadership Award was presented to Chris Merkley, for his tremendous contribution to raising the awareness of Bethell Hospice Foundation throughout our community.
Many thanks to Scotiabank, Bolton Branch, for acting as the lead gift matching partner for the evening. Thanks also to Devil’s Pulpit Golf Club for the beautiful venue and delicious food, and to The Flower Workshop for the lovely table centerpieces.
