Bethell Hospice provides compassionate, respectful care to enhance the quality of life for terminally ill individuals and their families. Bethell Hospice is the only residential hospice serving all of Caledon, Brampton and Dufferin County.
Every day, countless lives are touched by the work of Bethell Hospice. You may not need us personally today, or even tomorrow, but a family member, friend, co-worker or neighbour might. Your financial support makes it possible for care to be available for anyone who needs us at any time.
All services and programs are provided at no cost. There are no fees to stay at Bethell Hospice, or to participate in any of our community care programs, and no one is ever denied care due to financial situation. Bethell Hospice serves not only those with a life-limiting illness, but also provides comfort and support for family and friends dealing with loss. Personalized bereavement and grief support programs help to restore wellness for all those affected, including children and youth as well as adults.
Hospice services are an essential component of the health care system, focusing on individualized care and comfort, when a cure is not possible. Our professional medical team provides pain and symptom management and prioritizes attentive care, all in a beautiful, tranquil environment.
Hospice care is both highly valued by our community, and cost effective ($500 per day, as compared with $1100 per day in hospital).
Bethell Hospice exists because of community support. Thousands have benefitted from Bethell Hospice community programs since 1991, and residential hospice care since 2010. But the need continues to grow. Community support makes this care possible. Over 150 trained volunteers believe so strongly in Bethell Hospice that they dedicate over 15,000 hours annually to help out in any way they can. But they can’t do it alone.
Please help our care to continue.
