On October 19, Bethell Hospice Foundation held its Annual Giving Thanks Evening at Devil’s Pulpit Golf Club. Major donors, partners and friends gathered for an evening of thanks to celebrate. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Bethell Hospice volunteer, Stan Cameron. Speakers included, Dale Neilly who helped to organize the Quilts in the Garden Show in memory of his wife Pamela Neilly, a resident of Bethell Hospice and Carla Sica, who captained the team, Honest to God, in memory of her cousin and resident, MaryLou Bacci.
The Lorna Bethell Legacy Award was presented to community champions, George and Bonnie Ledson for their long and valued support of Bethell Hospice Foundation.
The Elizabeth Birnie Leadership Award was presented to Scotiabank (Queen St. Bolton, First St. Orangeville and Bramalea Rd., Brampton branches) for their dedicated contribution to Bethell Hospice Foundation through their gift-matching program in support of community fundraising events.
