June 9, 2019
A sold-out crowd gathered at the Greenhouse at the Royal Ambassador on Sunday, June 9 for the third annual Diamond in the Hills Fashion Show in support of Bethell Hospice Foundation. This year’s event raised a staggering $141,200 which will directly benefit Bethell Hospice programs and services.
Seven energetic local women – Bonnie Ledson, Marj Dennis, Debbie Glover, Judy Petursson, Danila Maric, Barb Gough and Barb Goodhand (with invaluable assistance from Joy Rounding) – put their talents to work to organize the entire event. “We call the event ‘Diamond in the Hills’ because Bethell Hospice is a jewel in our community, and we want to do whatever we can to support the organization,” shared event organizer, Bonnie Ledson. The afternoon featured a spectacular luncheon, an amazing silent auction, a spirited live auction, the ever-popular glitter boxes, and gorgeous fashions from Georgetown’s Studio 49.
