On October 18, Bethell Hospice Foundation held its Annual Giving Thanks Evening at Adamo Estate Winery. Major donors, partners and friends gathered for an evening of thanks to celebrate. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Bethell Hospice volunteer, Stan Cameron. Speakers included Debbie Hunt (one of the organizers of the Dawna Hunt Memorial Golf Tournament) and Anne Thompson (an avid supporter of Bethell Hospice Foundation, and family member of former Bethell Hospice resident, Heather Ann Thompson. The Elizabeth Birnie Leadership Award was presented to Carol Walker for her tireless support of countless Bethell Hospice Foundation fundraising events.
Many thanks to Adamo Estate Winery for the lovely venue and catering, and to Scotiabank – Bramalea Road Brampton Branch for acting as the lead gift matching partner, matching the first $3000 of donations made on October 18.
